Pu Luong Nature Reserve (belonging to two districts of Ba Thuoc and Quan Hoa, Thanh Hoa province) is currently a new and outstanding eco-tourism destination, attracting a lot of domestic and foreign tourists. Pu Luong is named by the Thai ethnic group, which means the highest mountain in Thanh Hoa province. This is also the place where in the 40s of the 20th century the French built the airport on the top of the mountain, which is associated with historical legends.
